Biography

Mo Woods (they/them) is a fifth year PhD candidate (ABD) and NSF graduate research fellow studying sociology at The Ohio State University. Their research interests include methodology and the intersections of identity, politics, and culture. Their dissertation is about space, place, identity, and politics among LGBTQ residents of Columbus, OH. In addition to the departmental methods sequence, they have received (funded) external training in quantitative text analysis, social network analysis, and machine learning among other methods. They are advised by Dr. Rin Rezcek.
